Hey folks,
For those of you in the Huntsville area, I am continuing the evangelization/apologetics sessions I've been doing at Holy Spirit parish, but this time in the evening. I'll be there this coming Tuesday, October 24th, from 6:30 AM - 8:00 PM to discuss ways to evangelize.
Ever gotten a question about your Catholic Faith from a family member, friend, or maybe a co-worker that you couldn't answer? If so, join us and learn how to do be the evangelizer instead of the evangelizee.
Do you have a family member who has left the faith? Are you maybe interested in learning how to bring them back? Come and join me for what I hope will be some interesting conversation and for some fellowship with other Catholics.
The format is that I do a short presentation - maybe 10 to 15 minutes - and then open it up for your questions and discussion. Have you been in a dialogue, or maybe are currently in one, with a non-Catholic and you could use a little "professional" help. Come on by! Do you have an in-law who is Baptist, or Evangelical, or maybe Church of Christ and you're always getting questions from them? Would you like to learn how to not only answer their questions but maybe ask them a few questions of your own? Questions that will cause them to have to pause and think? Come and join us.
I'll be in the parish hall from 6:30 PM until 8:00 PM. Come anytime during that time period...it's all very informal. Bring some food or just bring a cup of coffee or just bring yourself. Stay for as little or as long as you want.
I guarantee you two things: 1) You will learn a little more about your faith; and 2) You will definitely learn how to take a step or two towards becoming a Catholic evangelist!
