Have you ever wanted to learn how to evangelize? Ever been in a situation where you wanted to say something about Jesus, or your Catholic Faith, but just didn't know how to get started? Well, we've got what you need. The Office of the New Evangelization is conducting a "Basic Evangelization Workshop" at St. Peter the Apostle parish in Birmingham on July 10th and 11th.
The workshop will be conducted by St. Paul Street Evangelization - an organization that has chapters all throughout the U.S. that specialize in street evangelization. But, while street evangelization is their specialty, this training can be applied to pretty much any situation you may find yourself in - at work, at home, at the gym, in the neighborhood - it's easy and it's fun. So, whether you want to start a St. Paul Street Evangelization chapter and go out on the street to evangelize, or just want to get a conversation going with a family member or co-worker, this workshop is for you.
Basic Evangelization Training I will be Friday night, July 10th, from 6:30 - 9:00. Basic Evangelization Training II will be Saturday, July 11th, from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. The cost is $40 if you register online, $50 at the door. That cost includes lunch on Saturday.
